Please
find below information regarding Progressive Basics
Used Vehicle Department Seminar.
All attendee’s are required to bring with
them the following items:
1)
LAST MONTH’S APPRAISALS
– This is the actual appraisal slip, showing
ACV (actual cash value), plus if unit was actually
traded in.
2)
USED VEHICLE INVENTORY SHEETS
– List of current used units in stock by
age (number of days in stock) including year,
make, model, etc.
3)
TRAFFIC LOG FOR THE PREVIOUS 90 DAYS (NEW
& USED) – This is a summarization
of all walk-in traffic and what happened to them
once they were in your dealership.
4)
WHOLESALE LOGS FOR THE PREVIOUS 60 DAYS
– What units the dealership wholesaled and
to whom.
5)
YEAR TO DATE PROFIT & LOSS STATEMENTS
(USED VEHICLE DEPARTMENT) – IF AVAILABLE
6)
50 RANDOM REPAIR ORDERS (25 INTERNAL/25
CUSTOMER PAY) –
Internal – Repairs made on cars traded in
to the dealership
Customer – Vehicles customer brought to
be repaired
These must NOT be pulled by used vehicle manager
or service manager.
7)
RETAIL SALES FOR USED VEHICLE DEPARTMENT –
PREVIOUS 30 DAYS USED VEHICLE DEPARTMENT RETAIL
SALES – Please note the number
of days in stock (age) of each unit when sold.
(Please know the number of new vehicles sold in
the same time frame).
8) PLEASE BRING A PEN AND CALCULATOR WITH
YOU TO CLASS!
