Progressive Basics has been in the training business
since 1981. Our corporate office is located in
Orange Park Florida, a suburb of Jacksonville.
We hold monthly used vehicle management training
in beautiful Jacksonville Beach and quarterly
meetings in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. The company's
expertise is training pre-owned inventory managers,
various inventory techniques, for trading, purchasing,
reconditioning and retailing in today's complex
market.
The company's founder and president, Tim Deese,
is considered the leader in training of used car
managers in the United States and Worldwide.
Progressive
Basics has a field force of four trainers and
internal support staff of four as well.
 In
the past 28 years, the company has worked with
over 40,000 dealers, managers, manufacturing personnel
and automotive industry employees in 28 countries
around the world. Progressive Basics has successfully
contracted with the business development branches
of Oldsmobile, Subaru, BMW, Lexus, Mitsubishi,
Saab, Volkswagen/Audi, Cadillac, Volvo, Ford and
Chrysler in the United States as well as Honda
and Acura of Canada, BMW in the Middle East and
Chrysler in Mexico.
The
company also works with numerous Dealer 20 groups
in the U.S. and Canada. Tim Deese has been rated
as one of the top speakers at the annual NADA
Convention. His workshops always have one of the
highest attendance ratings overall. He was also
a top speaker at the Canadian FADA convention
held in Ottawa- 1989, Hong Kong- 1992, and Quebec
City-1992,and the Australian Automobile Dealers
Association AADA in 2002.
Our
goal for the past twenty five years is to help
train and develop the most professional used car
managers possible by using the most modern management
methods possible.
